St Paul Art Crawl April 25 & 26th

Hi All, I hope you can join me for a fun filled weekend at the St Paul Art Crawl. Visit my studio at 308 Prince Street #160 St Paul, MN 55101 to view my latest work. It is ok with me if you purchase a piece or two. I will even help you get it framed. I am on image 102 of my series of 1,000 "Peace Is Abundant" images. I am selling this third grouping for $100 each and they are on 2x2' primed unstretched canvas! When purchased, I am giving two clothes line pins, eye hooks and wire to hang the images in your home. What a cool addition to any home, get over there and get your hands on them, I only have two thus far! Make one yours this weekend. Friday April 25th 6-10pm (Live Music 7-8pm at my studio) Saturday April 26th Noon-8pm www.amycernyvasterling.com Hope to see you there! Amy

Just another Manic Monday

Ok, so its not really Monday! The kids have been off of school so much due to the extremely cold temps. It makes it tough for art making time. However, I did sneak away for 2 hours to the studio this Monday and here is the result! The one with the chicken-birds is titled "You want to do the chicken dance with me?" The one that says "Good" is a partially finished xmas card sample. The other two photos are of my naughty studio assistant. Enjoy the art! Amy

Closed on Mondays? That's when artists make the art!

Here's my yesterday's art, enjoy! As I cropped these images I now see it would have been stronger to add legs on "Handsome Man" holding the laundry basket. The other man making cookies? He falls under a long ago theme I started called "Prince Charming". A request to whomever sees this post, send a little positive energy my way. I am meeting with somebody who works in the stationery industry today and hope it is a catalyst for me to understand how to sync up my art with the right opportunities for me. Have a good week, I'll post more early next week.
