Beyond Belief, a walk for peace

Walk for Peace! When: Saturday November 16th, 2013 8-9:30am Where: Mall of America (Theme Park Plaza) What: A walk for peace put on by Beyond Belief, a walk or peace. Please join many in walking for peace at the Mall of America. My "Peace Is Abundant" Series of art will be represented by one piece shown at this event. I hope you can make it!

Inking my way through Mondays!

Monday is the day for me to make art each week. I get all of my errands run and catching up caught in the morning hours. Then around 1pm I roll into the studio in lowertown St Paul and am inspired to work on ink drawings on watercolor paper. Here are some I made today.

The creative club house

After the Crawl the message I heard from the great expanse of universality is to create ink drawings on watercolor paper over the winter months. This sounds so fun and helped me to establish my title for this post. I feel like this type of creation comes right from my inner child and is a way where we, together hunker in and get silly! My studio space, a smaller space within a larger one has a quality of a tree house of sorts. I have an arched window in my space that is likely two times as tall as I am. After the St Paul Art Crawl my husband Tom helped me to pack the space well so I have more room to create. I can't wait to get there next Monday and make some new drawings!
